Multifunctional beauty trend moves mainstream in Korea

Multifunctional cosmetics are becoming more popular in Korea. According to beauty manufacturer Coreana Cosmetics, convenience and cost savings are both major drawcards for consumers as they continue to deal with increasingly difficult economic conditions.
Furthermore, hot and humid weather make multifunctional products an especially popular option for make-up and skin care. Since the climate can make the skin more sensitive to irritation, there is also more interest in products that are also hypoallergenic or made from wholly natural ingredients. In recent years, CC and BB creams offering combined benefits of skin care, whitening, UV protection and wrinkle protection have become increasingly mainstream.
